Free Tax Preparation Available at PCLC!

The Perry County Literacy Council (PCLC) is proud to once again serve as a participating site for the United Way of the Capital Region’s Money in Your Pocket (MIYP) program!

Families (2 or more people) with a household income of $67,000 or less and individuals earning $45,000 or less in 2024 may qualify for FREE tax preparation services.

Tax preparation begins on February 3, 2025.

To schedule your appointment, call 717.567.7323.

What to Bring:

  • Valid photo ID for taxpayer and spouse
  • Original Social Security card or ITIN for all individuals on the tax return
  • Printed copies of all year-end tax forms (no electronic files from phones)
  • IRS-issued Identity Protection PIN (if applicable)
  • Form 1095-A (if you received health insurance from the marketplace)

Additional Helpful Documents:

  • Previous year’s federal and state tax returns
  • Documentation for direct deposit (e.g., blank check or bank info)
  • Childcare provider’s EIN or Social Security number (if claiming childcare credits)
